How to get there

Captains Place is easy to reach by public transport from Amsterdam Centraal Station:
take bus 42 until the final stop (KNSM-eiland)
By car go via Ring Oost (S 114). Follow the signs Artis, Oostelijke Eilanden. Then Oostelijke Eilanden and KNSM-eiland. Follow the KNSM-laan until the final busstops. Then make a right turn twice and you have reached the  Levantkade.
By boat you may be dropped of at the landing-stage right accross from the Barcelonaplein (Levantkade/Ertshaven). Captains Place is the first house boat from the landing-stage. There is cheap parking near the Piet-hein tunnel from which Eugene could pick you up and it is possible for Eugene to pick you up if he agrees on it (for both picking up with the boat AND near the tunnel), from the Central station.
